Over the past decade, I have worked in administration, operations, and project management across a wide range of industries, giving me a comprehensive view of how businesses operate. Some might call me a "jack of all trades, master of none," but I have to disagree. I am a Jack and Mary of the trade, and I take pride in the expansive skill set that allows me to bridge gaps and solve problems across the board.

As a startup founder myself, I know the territory. I feel the weight of those familiar pains and struggles. I believe that no one knows a business quite like the person who built it from the ground up. Because of that, I deeply understand the internal friction that makes it so difficult to delegate—and why the urge to micromanage feels like the only way to keep the vision safe.

When I was pushed back from the company I built, I finally understood the truth: holding onto every detail wasn't protecting my vision—it was suffocating it. I know the impulse. You are right to be protective, but if you do it all yourself, you aren't building a company—you are building a prison.
